Mechatronics – the future of our industry
Mechatronika – budoucnost našeho průmyslu
- Mechatronics is a modern technical interdisciplinary electro-technical and educational programme focused mainly on computer controlled robotic technological CIM chains, production CNC machines and automated systems of higher generations. In the entire course of education, students will work in at least two subjects a year with computers, automatic machines and robots. They will measure using the latest measuring devices connected to computers and the Internet.
Career opportunities for graduates: Graduates of the educational programme find career opportunities at middle technical and economic posts in designing, technological and construction activities of technical and machinery nature, as well as in the field of testing, regulation, revision, service and assembly technologies, in the production and maintenance of machines and devices, in measurement and regulation systems, or in the field of control and operation of automated workplaces. Prospective posts for graduates include construction designer, technologist, standard specialist, foreman, automated systems operator (ncluding electronic security systems), service engineer, operation engineer, training engineer, technical manager, sales representative etc.
Graduates are also ready to continue studying at technical universities or universities of mechanical engineering. Graduates receive a EUROPASS certificate.
- Pupils are admitted based on their results at primary schools during the 8th and the first half of the 9th grade, as well as the results in the testing of the entrance exams for the field of education with a graduation exam using the obligatory entrance exams in the school year 2015/2016. A doctor’s certificate of good state of health to study and carry out professional activities is required.
